Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Powwow
Join us for the annual Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation (MSIFN) Powwow, a vibrant and meaningful celebration of Indigenous culture, community, and tradition. Held on beautiful Scugog Island in Port Perry, this two-day gathering brings together dancers, drummers, artisans, and visitors from across Turtle Island (North America) to honour the past, celebrate the present, and share Indigenous culture in a spirit of unity and respect.
This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome to attend.
What to Expect
The MSIFN Powwow features:
Traditional dances and regalia
Sacred ceremonies and teachings
Drum groups and singers
Indigenous artisans and food vendors
A welcoming and inclusive atmosphere
