Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation Powwow

27th Annual Powwow - Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation

Join us for the annual Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation (MSIFN) Powwow, a vibrant and meaningful celebration of Indigenous culture, community, and tradition. Held on beautiful Scugog Island in Port Perry, this two-day gathering brings together dancers, drummers, artisans, and visitors from across Turtle Island (North America) to honour the past, celebrate the present, and share Indigenous culture in a spirit of unity and respect.

This is a family-friendly event and all are welcome to attend.

What to Expect

The MSIFN Powwow features:

  • Traditional dances and regalia

  • Sacred ceremonies and teachings

  • Drum groups and singers

  • Indigenous artisans and food vendors
