About Sideroads
Sideroads is a community-focused website designed to showcase the many events, attractions, and businesses that make North Durham, Kawartha Lakes, and beyond such a special place.
Developed by Big World Creative (BWC) through a grant from the Region of Durham and support from local businesses, the website continues to grow and evolve. The BWC team is now focused on enhancing the platform and expanding its membership.
Our goal is simple: to create a comprehensive, easy-to-navigate hub where visitors can discover everything happening in North Durham, Kawartha Lakes and beyond—all year round.

A portion of your membership fee helps cover:
Domain registration
Website hosting and maintenance
Membership Fees
$375.00 – Initial set-up fee
Includes set-up of your business feature page plus 5 event listings
$297.00 – Annual renewal fee
Includes 5 event listings
$25.00 – Per event listing (beyond the 5 included listings)
