Pottery: Beginner Wheel-throwing Workshop
Discover the joy of working with clay as you learn the basics of wheel throwing! In this 6-week hands-on course, you’ll explore essential techniques, including centering clay on the wheel and crafting a variety of vessels like bowls and cups.
Your finished pieces will be glazed, fired, and ready to take home—perfect to use and enjoy. Each student will work on their own wheel, ensuring plenty of individual attention.

Fee: $375 (includes all materials, clay, glazes & firings)
Age Requirement: Open to students 14+
What to Know Before You Go
Masks: Optional
Clothing: Aprons are provided, but clay can get messy—avoid wearing your best clothes.
Fingernails: Keep nails trimmed short for easier handling of clay.
Left-Handed Notice: META4 wheels are designed for right-handed potters, so lefties will need to learn right-handed techniques.
Cancellation Policy
More than 3 days before start: Eligible for a refund or credit, minus a $25 cancellation fee.
Less than 3 days before start: No refunds or credits.
After the class begins: No refunds or credits.
Transfers: You may transfer your registration to another person at no charge.
