Course Fee: $160 (+ $40 materials fee, payable to the instructor)

About the Workshop

Discover the ancient art of encaustic painting in this immersive one-day workshop inspired by the colours and textures of spring. Using a blend of heated beeswax and tree resin, participants will explore this richly layered painting technique while learning foundational encaustic methods, texture-building tools, and creative application techniques. Working from a shared seasonal reference image, each artist will have the opportunity to create a piece that feels uniquely their own. Some previous painting experience is recommended.

  • Mask wearing is optional

  • Cancellation Policy:

    • Cancellations more than 3 days before class: eligible for a credit or refund, less a $25 fee

    • Cancellations within 3 days: no credit or refund

    • Registrations may be transferred to another person at no charge
