About the Show:
Jack and Tracy desperately need a vacation—but their tropical escape is an utter disaster. Rain has ruined their plans, their influencer dreams are fizzling, and now there’s the small issue of a potential nuclear missile strike. As the doomsday clock ticks down, the couple confronts harsh truths about their relationship, fame, and what really matters in the face of impending doom.
This chaotic, bitingly funny play is a razor-sharp satire about modern anxieties, influencer culture, and apocalyptic romance.
About the Playwright:
Michael Ross Albert has been hailed by The Toronto Star as “one of Toronto’s most exciting playwrights.” His acclaimed works, including Anywhere, The Huns, and Tough Jews, have received numerous awards and international productions.
About the Director:
Carey Nicholson, co-founder and artistic director, brings decades of experience to the director’s chair. Known for her multifaceted roles in theatre—from choreography to costume design—Nicholson’s heart lies in directing, where she brings stories to life with insight and depth.
